Educated to a Master Degree in Cultural Policy & Management at the City University London, Elena has been trained as a Music Educator at the British Academy of New Music in East London and as a Performing Artist at the Kiev Stage School.

Travelling around the world with her music Elena has acquired much influence from the jazz, gypsy and the world music genres. When performing live, Elena eloquently blends all these styles together when sharing her original tongue-in-cheek compositions, whilst interpreting jazz standards in an elegant forties style, adding a cinematic feel to her sound. 

Over the last twelve years, Elena has promoted and coached over a hundred of songwriters, musicians and aspiring singers while organising regular events to showcase their talent. Elena set up four pop-up schools dedicated to vocal training with many visiting jazz educators from the industry leading to one online Jazz Singer's Platform SJI which has united all the efforts. From September 2019 Elena‘s vocal training project is also documented and shared in a video format on Patreon for continuous self-guided training.
